How To Ship Keepsakes

If you are not local to Tucson, AZ and need to have your keepsakes shipped to me, here is how you can do so, to ensure your keepsakes remain in quality condition for me to be able to work with them.

 

-BREASTMILK: Breastmilk does NOT have to be fresh, it can even be a few years old. As long as it doesn't have mold in it, I can use it!! I only need an oz. Please thaw any frozen milk before shipping. Take the breast milk storage bag that your milk is already in, fold the bag in half, and put it in a second breastmilk storage bag. Repeat once more, putting the double bagged milk, into a third and final bag. The less air in the bags, the better. It is imparative that they are sent to me in 3 breastmilk storage bags, not two, and not ziplock bags. Unfortunately, things happen and I would hate for the last bit of milk you have to leak during transit and me not be able to create a beautiful piece for you. (If you no longer have any breastmilk storage bags, I recommend asking on a local Facebook group if someone is able to spare a few.) Please carefully label the inner bag that contains the milk, as well as the outermost bag with your full name, and order number. -HAIR: I only need about one-two inches of hair in length, and about If the hair you have is already in a ponytail or elastic, it is perfectly okay to keep in the elastic. If the hair is long and fairly thick, please cut off about one-two inches of the hair to send to me and keep the rest for yourself. The hair can be placed in a paper towel or napkin and folded up and then placed in a ziplock baggie. Note: any pet hair or fur can be packaged and sent the same way! Please carefully label the inner bag that contains the hair, with your full name, and order number. You can get a bubble mailer at the post office, address it to me, pay for it and ship it off. -FLOWERS: Flowers are best when sent, sandwiched in between two small pieces of cardboard. I recommend cutting off a small rectangular portion of a pizza box or any shipping/stoarge cardboard box and cutting it in half. Please tape all 4 edges together so the cardboard can't move around in transit. Please carefully label both sides of the cardboard BEFORE ADDING TAPE, with your full name, and order number. You can get a bubble mailer at the post office, address it to me, pay for it and ship it off. -ASHES: I only need about a teaspoon. Please note: any remaining, unused ashes will be sent back to you with your order. If you feel comfortable, ashes can be sent to me in a ziplock bag, please double bag. If you would prefer, the ashes can be placed in a small container or your choice. An empty and clean pill bottle is often a popular choice. Please carefully label the inner bag that contains the ashes, or the storage container with your full name, and order number. You can get a bubble mailer at the post office, address it to me, pay for it and ship it off. -FORMULA: I only need about a scoop. Formula can be sent to me in a ziplock bag, please double bag. Please carefully label the inner bag that contains the formula, with your full name, and order number. You can get a bubble mailer at the post office, address it to me, pay for it and ship it off. Please carefully label the shipping mailer with your full name, order number directly next to or under your name, and your home address. My shipping address is below.

-UMBILICAL CORD: I only need a small bit of the stump. Please note: umbilical cord will NOT be sent back to you. If you would like to keep some for yourself, please break off a small piece to send me. If you are going to send the whole stump, it will be thrown out. Umbilical cord can be sent to me in a ziplock bag, please double bag. Please carefully label the inner bag that contains the umbilical cord, with your full name, and order number. You can get a bubble mailer at the post office, address it to me, pay for it and ship it off. Please carefully label the shipping mailer with your full name, order number directly next to or under your name, and your home address. My shipping address is below.

-PLACENTA CAPSULE: I only need one capsule. A capsule can be sent to me in a ziplock bag, please double bag. Please carefully label the inner bag that contains the capsule, with your full name, and order number. You can get a bubble mailer at the post office, address it to me, pay for it and ship it off. Please carefully label the shipping mailer with your full name, order number directly next to or under your name, and your home address. My shipping address is below.

-SAND: I only need about a teaspoon. Sand can be sent to me in a ziplock bag, please double bag. Please carefully label the inner bag that contains the sand, with your full name, and order number. You can get a bubble mailer at the post office, address it to me, pay for it and ship it off. -PREGNANCY TEST CAP: Please put the cap in a ziplock bag. Please carefully label the bag with your full name, and order number. You can get a bubble mailer at the post office. Simply put the test cap in the mailer, address it to me, pay for it and ship it off. If your order includes multiple keepsakes, please note that they can be sent together. Just make sure that each different keepsake is packaged and labeled according to the directions provided above.
